The security forces of Bay and Bakool Islamic administration have arrested more than 70 people who are mainly Kat traders and Kat addicts who staged a violent protest against a Governor ban on the narcotic drug related substance (Kat).

The security forces of Bay and Bakool Islamic administration have arrested more than 70 people who are mainly Kat traders and Kat addicts who staged a violent protest against a Governor ban on the narcotic drug related substance (Kat).
The perpetrators attacked public transport and businesses with a hail of stones causing business interruption, they harassed the ordinary people.
Later the security forces were called in to intervene, they arrested more than 70 suspects and are said to be on the move to make more arrests.
The violence comes just a day after the governor issued a degree banning the use and sell of the drug known as Kat.
